The Community Training Facilitator will develop and implement the training programs for the Anti Racism Project as well as assist with special projects in the Community Development Portfolio. They will train health care professionals across the province to recognize and support the individual needs of Indigenous women and their families in a culturally rooted holistic way. The Community Training Facilitator will develop trainings/workshops and collect resource materials, including wise practices and communication materials to support health related cultural safety training as part of the Community Development team. This program will focus on the development and training for health care professionals to create safe culturally grounded healthcare experiences for Indigenous women and their families. They will develop and enhance key community relationships with all internal and external stakeholders including ONWA services and membership, Indigenous Communities, Health care professionals across the province.
