The CSL Program Manager is responsible for directing and supporting all aspects of operations for Community Supported Living in their region. The CSL Program Manager will work with key functional areas to ensure quality supports and budget compliance and is responsible for the implementation of Individual and Behavioral Support Plans, supervision of individuals’ supports and overseeing ongoing development of programs.

Requirements

  • 1 – 3 years of experience managing behaviors and diverse medical needs
  • Strong Leadership and development skills
  • Proficient in MS Office products (MS Word, MS Excel, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Supervises the Direct Support Professionals in individuals’ homes and apartments and are responsible for training, supervision, scheduling and performance appraisals of the Direct Support Professionals working in these programs.
  • Ensures the needs and desires of the individuals are met or exceeded through the targeted use of staff. It may be necessary for the Program Manager to work direct care, including ADLs, assisting with medical appointments, emergency treatment, transportation, community connections/integration and other supports.
  • It is the responsibility of the Program Manager to manage personnel and ensure staff coverage of the program at all times. In instances where other staff are not available, the Program Manager will provide the supports and services for the program. This position includes on-call responsibilities and providing care to those supported.
  • They are responsible for creating and maintaining a safe environment in the home that meets the needs and preferences of the individuals living in their own home and complies with the policies of the organization and all federal, state and local regulations.
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining strong and positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. This includes, but is not limited to, other staff, Care Program Managers, Guardians, family members, neighbors and community members.
