About The Position

Keystone Human Services is seeking Community Support Professionals to provide individualized, person-directed support to individuals with autism. The role involves teaching, coaching, and supporting people in pursuing growth, meaningful life choices, and participation as valued members of their communities. The Community Support Professional serves as a role model and helps individuals develop friendships, find and maintain employment, exercise choice, maintain activities of daily living, and accomplish personal goals. This is a part-time, non-exempt position paying $19.00 per hour, or $21.00 per hour with a bachelor’s degree. The role requires use of a personal vehicle to transport individuals within the community.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Effective communication skills.
Proficient computer skills.
Valid driver’s license.
Daily access to a privately maintained and insured vehicle.
Use of a personal vehicle to transport individuals within the community.
Successful completion of the pre-employment process, including clearances and verifications.

Responsibilities

Teach, coach, and support individuals with autism.

Act as an effective role model in supporting individuals to lead everyday lives.
Support individuals in meeting new people and developing friendships.
Support individuals in finding and maintaining employment.
