About The Position

This position will assist in the facilitation, implementation, development, and management of community schools' activities, events, programs and services. The Center for Youth is a non-profit organization that partners with youth to realize their full potential by creating opportunities, removing barriers, and promoting social justice.

Requirements

• Associates Degree in social services, education, youth development OR Equivalent combination of experience and education.
• 2 years' experience working with youth/ student/ or families.
• Excellent Communication skills.
• Knowledge of Spencerport Schools.
• Knowledge of positive youth development, asset development, risk reduction and protective factors.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partners with school and Department of Community and Family Engagement to promote the community school's strategy.
• Establishes and maintain connections with local organizations and businesses to expand learning opportunities, and provide health and social services to community.
• Organizes engagement for students, family and volunteers.
• Assists in data collection and evaluation.
