Palmer’s Home Care LLC is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). If you’re passionate about person-centered care and want to work in a supportive environment — we’d love to hear from you! As an RN with Palmers, you’ll provide high-quality oversight and support for individuals with IDD. You’ll collaborate with medical professionals, ensure compliance with state and agency standards, and play a critical role in improving overall well-being.
Requirements
- Active RN License (required)
- Ability to pass a Family Care Safety Registry screening
- Ability to pass driving record check for fleet insurance approval
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience with I/DD populations is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Conducting monthly RN oversight assessments
- Reviewing medications and health records for accuracy and compliance
- Supporting clients at medical appointments when needed
- Training and delegating to direct care staff
- Collaborating with care teams to maintain up-to-date care plans and medication orders
- Completing timely documentation and progress notes
- Ensuring adequate medical supplies and proper medication administration
- Identifying and addressing any gaps in care or health-related concerns
- Other duties as needed
