Emmanuel Hospice is seeking a highly organized and compassionate Community Relations Assistant to support fundraising, donor relations, volunteer services, bereavement programs, marketing, and community outreach efforts. Requirements

  • Associate degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2-3 years of administrative, nonprofit, fundraising, marketing, or community relations experience.
  • Experience with donor databases, CRM systems, volunteer management software, or EMR systems.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain donor records, process gifts, generate reports, and support fundraising campaigns.
  • Assist with donor recognition, communications, and stewardship activities.
  • Coordinate fundraising events, volunteer recruitment efforts, community outreach programs, and bereavement events.
  • Manage marketing materials, website updates, and promotional inventory.
  • Support volunteer onboarding, training, and documentation requirements.
  • Assist with program reporting, compliance tracking, and Patient Wish Program initiatives.
