About The Position

This role involves providing non-clinical, recovery-oriented support services to mental health consumers across community, acute, and rehabilitation settings. Working under the supervision of a clinician, the Community Rehabilitation Worker will assist consumers with practical day-to-day activities that support their recovery goals, wellbeing, and independence. The position requires collaborative work within a multidisciplinary team to provide compassionate, consumer-focused support and promote positive mental health outcomes.

Requirements

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to support consumers from diverse backgrounds.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and manage workload effectively.
Understanding of the challenges faced by people experiencing mental illness and commitment to recovery-oriented care.
Experience working in community services, health or mental health settings.
Experience using Microsoft Office programs.
