The University of Maryland School of Nursing (UMSON) is currently recruiting for two full-time teaching-focused Assistant or Associate Professor to join the Community Public Specialty and the Department of Family and Community Health. The Community Public Health Specialty currently includes an MSN program with certificates in Environmental Health and Care Coordination and required community public health courses for BSN, MSNE, and DNP students. The ideal candidates are doctoral prepared nurses with an advanced degrees in community/public health and experience in community/public health/population health. UMSON enrolls more than 2,000 students in its baccalaureate, master's, and doctoral programs and is ranked among the top ten schools of nursing in the nation. It is part of the University of Maryland graduate professional campus that also includes the schools of medicine, dentistry, social work, pharmacy, and law and is becoming one of the fastest growing biomedical research centers in the nation. The unique composition of the campus enables health professionals to address clinical care, public policy, and social issues through multidisciplinary research, scholarship, and community action.
