About The Position

The Services Project Manager will manage a portfolio of projects and spearhead initiatives that support Philabundance’s Community Partner network in working towards the organization’s mission of relieving hunger. This position will be responsible for creating, managing and streamlining operational processes and community partnership data collection. The Services Project Manager will work closely with the Community Programs and Community Partnership teams. This role does not have reports and will work with and through other individuals who are key to the projects. Key components of this role are project management, organizational skills and the ability to digest information from agreements, programs or standard operating procedures and align with expectations, metrics and goals. The role requires the ability to work with partner network data, including collecting, organizing, analyzing, and interpreting information to identify trends, assess needs, monitor progress, and support data-informed decisions. The Services Project Manager will use data to strengthen partner engagement, improve project planning, support compliance efforts, and help ensure resources and services are aligned with the needs of the partner network.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience.
  • Ideally in a solutions driven dynamic environment with a complex mix of internal and external requirements.
  • Ability to review, organize and share program information and requirements with reasonable detail and proactive input on a standard or custom basis.
  • Strong attention to detail and deadlines for data accumulation and ability to project future outcomes.

  • Minimum of 5 years of project management with strong data management, program knowledge and reporting expertise.
  • Previous project management experience from start to launch with dynamic team and mix of internal and external ownership.
  • Minimum of 2 years of Non-profit experience owning a program, developing a program and rolling out a program to a diverse team with competing priorities and a need for high level customer service engagement.
  • Strong experience understanding agreements/contracts or programs and separating to establish operational responsibilities, needs and compliance standards.
  • Experience sharing information, processes and knowledge with a team, less experienced co-workers.
  • Ensure learning and knowledge can be effectively shared to ensure continued support and guidance to programs, data and related processes.
  • Clean driving record and valid driver’s license is required if employee is going to use company vehicles for transportation to home visits, agency partner visits or event participation.
  • Must have the ability to be available evenings, weekends and take on extended hours as business needs demand.

Nice To Haves

  • Extended education in Social Sciences, Public Health or related fields a plus.
  • Project Management Certification highly preferred.
  • Interest in attaining PMP certification ideal if not already achieved.
  • Agile, ITIL, or other a plus.
  • Highly prefer PMP, Agile, or other project certifications to support project development and inclusion of best practices.
  • Experience in multiple roles within non-profit or related field to support context of programs and process flow for related data and projects.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of projects including but not limited to strategic community partnerships portfolio, community partner council and lead community partner data tool.
  • Onboarding, gathering, and analyzing partner impact data, compliance and strategic community distributions.
  • Prepare and recommend strategic plans for streamlining existing projects and executing new initiatives that support the Community Partnerships network.
  • Creates accountability and compliance with agencies.
  • Assist in the definition of project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, mission alignment and executional feasibility and manage changes in real-time.
  • Collaborate with relevant internal teams, including Distributions, Food Sourcing, Events, Food Access and Government Affairs on executing projects and building cross-departmental relationships.
  • Ensure consistent and outstanding engagement with the community partner network, new community partners or external stakeholders when relevant for assigned projects.
  • Be able to lead meetings and/or training for larger groups, individuals, which may include a mix of participants who are culturally, ethnically, socioeconomically diverse and multi-lingual.
  • Responsible for supporting and aligning with Philabundance Cultural pillars.
  • Ensure communications, actions and interactions reflect a focus on People, Partnerships, Professionalism and Progress
  • Support the planning and execution of ongoing Community Partnership engagement, including trainings, council participation and events.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with community at large as a representative of Philabundance.
  • Perform other duties as requested.
