About The Position

The Community Programs and Services Coordinator RN, also known as a Wellness RN or Wellness Coordinator, will design and implement programs that promote healthy behaviors and outcomes for employees. They are responsible for assessing the needs and interests of a population, educating and counseling employees on health topics, and evaluating the impact of wellness programs on a company's performance. In addition, they may help coordinate special events and programs to promote better health in the community. The RN Wellness Coordinator will need to have skills and knowledge in public health, organizational behavior, marketing, and managing a population. Requirements

Texas Registered Nurse License (Upon hire)
National Provider BLS – American Heart Association (Upon hire)
Experience teaching health education material to adult populations
1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
Experience in a home/community-based healthcare setting
