About The Position
Specialty Medical Staffing is hiring a Community Pharmacist to support an established community pharmacy in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. The role focuses on safe and accurate dispensing, patient counseling, and daily pharmacy operations. It is a six-month temporary assignment with the potential to transition to a permanent position. The schedule is expected to remain consistent during the assignment; hours may vary if the position converts to permanent.
Requirements
- Active Wisconsin pharmacist license in good standing.
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
- Experience with pharmacy data-entry systems.
- Strong communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Review, interpret, and accurately dispense new and refill prescriptions.
- Perform final verification of prepared medications to support safe, effective therapy.
- Counsel patients and communicate with healthcare providers about prescription questions.
- Oversee pharmacy workflow and guide pharmacy technicians as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with pharmacy regulations, safety practices, and patient confidentiality requirements.
- Support quality assurance and provide attentive customer service.
