About The Position

Specialty Medical Staffing is hiring a Community Pharmacist to support an established community pharmacy in Brookfield, Wisconsin. The role focuses on safe and accurate prescription dispensing, patient counseling, and daily pharmacy operations. It is a six-month temporary assignment with the potential to transition into a permanent position. The schedule is expected to remain consistent during the temporary assignment; hours may vary after permanent conversion.

The listed schedule is Sunday 10:00 AM–5:00 PM, Wednesday through Friday 9:00 AM–8:00 PM, and Saturday 9:00 AM–6:00 PM.

Requirements

• Active Wisconsin pharmacist license in good standing.
• Bachelor of Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
• Experience with pharmacy data-entry systems.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Review, interpret, and accurately dispense new and refill prescriptions.
• Perform final verification of prepared medications to support safe and effective therapy.
• Counsel patients and communicate with healthcare providers regarding prescription questions.
• Oversee pharmacy workflow and provide guidance to pharmacy technicians as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with pharmacy regulations, safety practices, and patient confidentiality requirements.
• Support quality assurance and provide attentive customer service.
