About The Position

Lifespace Communities is seeking a passionate Community Outreach Coordinator to join their team at Village on the Green in Longwood, Florida. This role is crucial for maintaining the community's census at the budgeted level through public relations, marketing, and development efforts. The Outreach Coordinator will act as a public relations agent, fostering relationships with referring communities, gathering feedback, and sharing vital information. They will also be responsible for presenting the community at networking events and collaborating with health center and social service departments to ensure smooth admissions and transfers. This position offers a commission incentive for leads that result in move-ins, aligning with Lifespace's mission to empower team members to live their aspirations and grow their careers.

Requirements

Associates or bachelor’s degree required.
Two-three years applicable experience.
As part of the hiring process and in accordance with Florida law, healthcare candidates who accept a job offer are required to complete a background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.

Responsibilities

Perform public relations, marketing and development for the community as needed.
Responsible for maintaining census at budgeted level.
Serves as public relations agent on behalf of the community with referring communities, soliciting feedback, and sharing information with supervisor.
Make presentations about the community at scheduled physician networking luncheons.
Work closely with health center and social service departments to facilitate efficient admission/transfer to HC from referring community to appropriate level of care.
