About The Position

This position is responsible for managing, developing, coordinating, and implementing multiple regional and statewide activities and projects for the Wyoming Center on Aging (WYCOA). This includes developing and maintaining strategic partnerships, program marketing, and program evaluation. The Community Outreach Coordinator, III will coordinate the activities of WYCOA grants and contracts and work closely with Center on Aging leadership to ensure all grant/contract deliverables are met.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare field
  • 4 years progressively responsible work-related experience.
  • Experience must include at least 2 years at the preceding level or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record (MVR) compliant with the Driving for University Business SAP.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and present outreach programs/services for targeted groups, such as training workshops, conferences, and school or community presentations; assess program needs, organize program materials; evaluate program success.
  • Develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with agencies and organizations interested in specified programs or services.
  • Develop and conduct in-service training which includes program design and delivery.
  • Develop marketing plans and publicity materials for distribution to target audience.
  • Develop budgets and maintain financial records related to a specific activity, project, or service.
  • Develop and maintain database and/or website related to a specific activity, project, or service.
  • Act as project manager in planning and coordinating activities to support a specific program.
  • Research, prepare, and/or write grants, applications, and fundraising proposals to sources at local, state, and national levels.
  • Conduct research for an activity, program or service and write articles and reports and develop strategies and avenues to disseminate information and research.
  • May supervise professional and technical staff in implementing programs, objectives, and goals.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
  • Participate in performance-related goal setting and achievement to meet personal and organizational goals and objectives.
  • Attend and participate in training and other personal professional development activities.
