About The Position

Merrimack Services is a people-first company that leads door-to-door voter mobilization programs across the country. We are working with Progressive Turnout Project, the largest voter contact organization in the country, specifically dedicated to mobilizing the Democratic Party and defending democracy. Our mission is to rally Michigan Democrats to vote! This opportunity is for enthusiastic Community Organizers to help get out the vote in their own neighborhoods in Michigan. Community Organizers (COs) will speak with their neighbors about the importance of voting on November 3rd by knocking on their doors and having face-to-face conversations. COs will engage voters in the immediate vicinity of their own home place of residence and will be provided with a list of approximately 200 homes that they will door knock twice between October 25th and November 3rd. No travel outside of your own neighborhood is necessary. All CO activity will be GPS tracked via a phone application, and COs will be required to enter complete data from each conversation. Community Organizers may attend a virtual briefing to receive information about the work to be completed and will be provided with all information necessary.

Requirements

Must be a resident of Michigan.
Must have a smartphone with GPS tracking capabilities.
Must be able to enter complete data from each conversation.
