POSITION OVERVIEW In this temporary position, the Community Marketing Intern will support the marketing team by contributing to mission-driven efforts that foster meaningful relationships with our community. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, curious, and compassionate, with a strong interest in community engagement and purpose-driven work. The intern will thrive in a collaborative environment, demonstrate professionalism in communication, and be eager to learn while supporting cross-functional initiatives with care and attention to detail. This is a part-time internship (up to 30 hours per week) for Summer 2026, with an expectation of working onsite in the Goleta office three days per week.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Proactive and collaborative with a strong willingness to learn and contribute.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • A strong commitment to company mission and values.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to respectfully share and accept feedback willingly from all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Support community initiatives through administrative and coordination support.
  • Create and maintain a current customer testimonial database.
  • Assist with in-office community gifting initiatives.
  • Support planning and execution of community events.
  • Provide support for Oley planning and coordination.
  • Assist with the execution of the July community giveaway.
  • Help ensure professionalism and consistency in community-facing communications.
