About The Position

Summit Property is hiring a Community Manager in Spring, Texas (Houston). This role requires experience as a dual-site manager and offers excellent compensation and benefits. Requirements

  • 3+ years of multifamily Property Manager experience required.
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Computer proficiency, including MS Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Nice To Haves

  • Dual-site manager experience.
  • College-level education strongly preferred.
  • OneSite and Bluemoon experience preferred.
  • Industry designations strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manages core business processes, including staffing, leasing, resident relations, marketing, maintenance, budgeting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, vendor relations, recruiting, training, and team development.
  • Monitors and manages community rental rates to maximize income.
  • Addresses resident complaints, concerns, and requests appropriately.
  • Maintains the community’s appearance and ensures any necessary maintenance is reported and completed.
  • Implements creative self-created strategies as well as marketing initiatives as prescribed by the Marketing Department.
  • Partners with the Resident Services Team in processing applications, preparing and typing leases and completing all necessary paperwork via Bluemoon.
  • Ensures that the apartment is ready for the resident to move in on the move-in date.
  • Welcomes and orients new residents to the community.
  • Controls expenses within the annual budget.
  • Ensures deposits, rental payments, and all other charges are collected in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for setting the work schedule for all on-site employees.
  • Leads by example and helps the team grow by supporting their development.
