About The Position

Country Club at The Meadows Apartments, managed by Gaines Investment Trust, is seeking a hands-on Community Maintenance Technician. This role is crucial for ensuring apartment communities operate safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. The technician will respond to resident service requests, troubleshoot and perform repairs, prepare apartments for new residents, and maintain the overall condition of the community. Even if you are new to property management, if you are mechanically inclined, enjoy fixing things, and take pride in quality work, your skills may transfer well. Experience in trades like construction, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, or facilities maintenance is beneficial. As opportunities arise, qualified candidates will be contacted.

Nice To Haves

• Previous apartment maintenance experience
• Relevant hands-on experience from other industries
• Previous experience in apartment maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, construction, facilities maintenance, or a related skilled trade

Responsibilities

• Completing resident service requests promptly and professionally
• Troubleshooting and repairing plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and other apartment systems
• Performing general repairs and preventative maintenance throughout the community
• Preparing vacant apartments for new residents, including completing repairs and ensuring homes are move-in ready
• Inspecting apartments, common areas, and building systems for maintenance needs
• Assisting with the upkeep of community amenities, grounds, and common areas
• Identifying and reporting maintenance or safety concerns
• Maintaining tools, equipment, supplies, and work areas
• Providing professional and courteous service when interacting with residents
• Working closely with the onsite team to keep the community operating at a high standard
