Community Maintenance Technician
About The Position
Our management company is seeking a professional maintenance technician for our Flats on Havens Community, in Mitchell, SD! Elation Propetties specializes in upscale living, beautiful finishes, and a true community-based lifestyle! We are looking for the right person to join our maintenance team! The ideal candidate would perform routine maintenance and day-to-day repairs on common areas as well as occupied and vacated units. They can work independently to meet set maintenance and building upkeep expectations and work to exceed client expectations, ensuring that our community is always in good condition and maintained properly.
Requirements
- Basic “Handyman” skills
- Basic Plumbing knowledge
- Mechanical skills
- Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
- Must have a valid, unexpired, Driver’s License
Nice To Haves
- Programmable logic controllers: 1 year (Preferred)
- Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)
- Willingness to travel: 25% (Preferred)
Responsibilities
- Perform regular scheduled maintenance on the building.
- Handled tenants' requests as they come in within a timely manner.
- Repair and help restore lived-in units to their original condition!
- Work well with a team to ensure tenants receive an adequate level of service.
