About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for our apartment community. This role is responsible for completing work orders, preparing apartments for new residents, performing various repair and maintenance tasks, and assisting with property upkeep. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of multi-family maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair.

Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience in multi-family maintenance
  • HVAC Certification Required
  • Dry walling including painting and carpentry
  • Working knowledge of plumbing including sweating copper pipe
  • Working knowledge of electrical including outlets, switches, and light fixtures
  • Working knowledge to repair and/or diagnosis of appliances including refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers and garbage disposal
  • Water heater knowledge both electric and gas
  • A physical demonstration of your ability to complete the basic job duties will be required during the interview process.
  • Pre-employment criminal background check along with drug testing (we do not test for THC)

Nice To Haves

  • EPA License Preferred
  • CPO Certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Completes work orders in a timely manner based on priority
  • Make Ready / Turning apartments in between resident occupancy
  • Painting/Staining both interior and exterior applications
  • Heating, Ventilation, and Air Condition needs
  • Maintaining property grounds
  • Preventative maintenance
  • Maintain and keep a clean and organized maintenance shop and other work areas
  • Assist in coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone with other team members
