About The Position

Bel Rae Senior Living, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is looking for a Community Life Director to join their growing team. Bel Rae Senior Living is redefining senior living in St. Paul, MN, helping seniors Age Magnificently in a gorgeous, apartment-style community providing Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care services. The Community Life Director will ensure the development, organization, and coordination of facility and community resources to provide comprehensive Wellness/Recreation/Activity Services and programs that meet the needs and interests of each tenant. This role provides an ongoing program of community life activities designed to meet the Physical, Social, Intellectual, Emotional, Spiritual, Vocational, and Environmental well-being of each tenant, in accordance with the comprehensive Recreation/Wellness Assessment.

Requirements

Must be compassionate and have a desire to make a difference in the lives of the tenants.
Ability to train and motivate others while acting as a role model and mentor.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or equivalent
Professional experience in health care of at least 2 years

Responsibilities

Provide a Community Life program daily including evenings and weekends.
Purchase and maintain equipment and supplies and provide for their accessibility through organized storage.
Attend and participate in orientation, training, in-service education activities and staff meetings as assigned to maintain compliance.
Communicate programs and develop positive relations with tenants, family, and volunteers.
Foster Family and Community support through the Community Program (e.g., newsletters, networking, activities which bring Family members and members of the community into the building).
Contribute to community efforts to maintain and/or improve quality of life and quality of care by participating in Care conferences, QAPI, and Department Head Meetings.
