About The Position

The Glen Retirement System is seeking a Community Life Coordinator to help create moments of joy, purpose, and connection for the residents we serve. This is a hands-on, high-energy role perfect for someone who enjoys staying active and interacting throughout the day.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Experience working with seniors preferred
  • Compassionate, enthusiastic, and flexible personality
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude
  • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a Chauffeur’s License

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate scheduled group and individual activities
  • Support community events, outings, and special service projects
  • Encourage resident participation and build meaningful relationships
  • Assist with hosting entertainment and special guests
  • Decorate and maintain inviting activity spaces
  • Distribute calendars and maintain attendance records
  • Assist with volunteer coordination and event documentation
  • Help transport residents to appointments and outings as needed
