About The Position

The Glen Retirement System is seeking a Community Life Coordinator to help create moments of joy, purpose, and connection for the residents we serve. This is a hands-on, high-energy role perfect for someone who enjoys staying active and interacting throughout the day. The Glen is always looking for caring individuals excited to be part of an active, nurturing community.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Compassionate, enthusiastic, and flexible personality
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude
  • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a Chauffeur’s License

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with seniors preferred

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate scheduled group and individual activities
  • Support community events, outings, and special service projects
  • Encourage resident participation and build meaningful relationships
  • Assist with hosting entertainment and special guests
  • Decorate and maintain inviting activity spaces
  • Distribute calendars and maintain attendance records
  • Assist with volunteer coordination and event documentation
  • Help transport residents to appointments and outings as needed
