Requirements

High School Diploma or GED (required)
At least one year of work experience required, preferably in similar healthcare setting
Applicants for this position must be able to produce a negative drug test.
Applicants may be subject to a background check.
Employees in this position must be able to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position.

Nice To Haves

Current and active New Jersey CNA certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

Participates in the scheduling of activities and programs within the community, communicates those with residents, encourages participation and participates in assigned programming
Transports residents to and from planned activities within or outside community.
Maintain attendance record of residents at activities and events
Meets with outside local community groups to plan joint projects which benefit community residents as instructed
Assures supplies are available for planned resident activities and programming
Gives input to residents’ care planning- assessments, care plan goals and approaches and progress notes
