About The Position

Boulder Ponds, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is seeking an Activity Assistant to join their team. Boulder Ponds Senior Living, which opened in spring 2021 in Lake Elmo, MN, is a 95-unit, apartment-style community offering Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care services. The community is looking for passionate and caring individuals to help seniors Age Magnificently. This role is part-time, 20 hours per week, with shifts from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM on weekdays and every other weekend from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The wage is $17.50-$19.00 per hour. Community Life Assistants become family and impact the lives of residents, assisting the Community Life Department Supervisor in developing, organizing, coordinating, and implementing comprehensive community life and wellness services and programs.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident’s families, and employees.
Must possess advanced computer skills, including email use.

Nice To Haves

Experience working in Assisted Living and Memory Care is preferred.

Responsibilities

Facilitate group programs as assigned in a timely and efficient manner.
Promote and integrate the wellness dimensions into the community life programs.
Communicate programs and develop positive relations with residents, family, and volunteers.
