About The Position
Birchwood Health Care Center, a Lifespark Skilled Nursing Community, is looking for dedicated and passionate Community Life Assistants to join their growing team. Birchwood Health Care Center is home to seniors requiring TCU (Transitional Care Unit) Care and Long-Term Care. They have been helping seniors Age Magnificently since 1979 and are part of Senior Care Communities, a local non-profit supporting seniors. In this position, you will be responsible to assist the Community Life Department Supervisor in the development, organization, coordination and implementation of comprehensive community life and wellness services and programs that meet the needs and interests of each tenant.
Requirements
- Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident’s families, and employees.
- Must possess advanced computer skills, including email use.
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working in Assisted Living and Memory Care is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate group programs as assigned in a timely and efficient manner.
- Promote and integrate the wellness dimensions into the community life programs.
- Communicate programs and develop positive relations with residents, family, and volunteers.
