About The Position

Allay Hospice is seeking a Community Liaison based in Brookfield, Wisconsin, covering the Brookfield area. The role serves as a representative of the organization and promotes hospice services to healthcare professionals, community partners, patients, and families. It focuses on building referral relationships, raising awareness of hospice care, and helping connect people with compassionate end-of-life support.

The Community Liaison visits healthcare and senior-care facilities, attends community events, manages outreach activity in a CRM, and uses market insights to guide outreach efforts. The role also educates families and professionals about hospice benefits, coordinates with the care team to support referrals, keeps current through training, and completes required reporting and documentation. The schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Prior experience in healthcare sales or hospice outreach.
• At least 2 years of healthcare marketing experience.
• Current and valid state driver's license.
• Proof of auto insurance.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in healthcare and administrative software applications.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to collaborate professionally across organizational levels and within the communities served.
• Commitment to high standards of customer service and professionalism.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced degree or certification in healthcare marketing.
• Experience working with CRM systems and referral networks.

Responsibilities

• Visit hospitals, clinics, and senior care facilities to promote hospice services.
• Build and maintain relationships with doctors, nurses, and referral partners.
• Attend community events to raise awareness and represent the organization.
• Track and manage outreach activity in the CRM system.
• Use market insights to plan and improve outreach efforts.
• Educate families and professionals about hospice benefits and available support.
• Work with the care team to ensure smooth patient referrals and quality care.
• Stay current on hospice care through training and self-learning.
• Complete reports, documentation, and administrative tasks on time.
• Follow healthcare rules and regulations.
