About The Position

The Community IOP Coordinator oversees the Community and Virtual Programs from admission through discharge. Responsibilities include coordinating care, overseeing intakes, client engagement, attendance, and program requirements. This role collaborates closely with Admissions, Intake, Case Managers, Clinicians, and Management to provide high-quality, trauma-informed services to outpatient clients in both in-person and virtual settings. The coordinator also supports management with monitoring and company compliance, team productivity, and key performance indicators (KPIs). As the program grows, this role may also provide supervision, training, and support to program staff.

  • Current CPR and First Aid certification required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health, Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in behavioral health, mental health, substance use treatment, or a related field.
  • Experience with care coordination, client engagement, intakes, and program operations.
  • Strong knowledge of trauma-informed and client-centered care.
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must meet all applicable company and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of Community and Virtual IOP programs from admission through discharge.
  • Coordinate client care and ensure continuity of services throughout treatment.
  • Conduct and/or coordinate client intakes, admissions, and program onboarding.
  • Monitor client attendance, participation, engagement, and compliance with program requirements.
  • Track client progress and follow up on attendance, treatment participation, and barriers to engagement.
  • Collaborate with Intake, Case Managers, clinicians, BHTs, and management to support coordinated, trauma-informed care.
  • Communicate with clients and staff regarding scheduling, attendance, treatment needs, and program expectations.
  • Ensure clients receive scheduled services in accordance with program requirements and company standards.
  • Monitor program compliance and assist with identifying and addressing gaps in service delivery.
  • Track team productivity, attendance, engagement, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, records, and program tracking systems.
  • Assist management with identifying operational needs and implementing process improvements.
  • Support the development and ongoing improvement of Community and Virtual IOP programming.
  • Help ensure a consistent, high-quality client experience across in-person and virtual services.
  • Provide training, guidance, and support to staff as needed.
  • As the program grows, may supervise, train, and oversee program staff and assist with team development and performance management.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
  • Accomplishes human resource objectives for the clinical team by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions; recommending compensation actions; adhering to policies and procedures.
