About The Position

This is a hybrid role, which means that you will have the flexibility to work both onsite and at a distance. You will collaborate onsite at our Cashton, WI office for 4-8 days per month, and the rest of the time you can choose to work remotely or onsite. This position is eligible for a 3% annual incentive bonus based on cooperative and individual performance. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in communications, nonprofit management, community development, human resources, or a related field preferred.
Experience in community engagement, employee engagement, corporate social responsibility, or related work strongly preferred.
Experience working in or with mission-driven organizations, cooperatives, or nonprofits is a plus.
Strong understanding of community engagement, nonprofit partnerships, corporate/cooperative giving, and the cooperative business model.
Demonstrated financial acumen, with the ability to responsibly manage budgets, evaluate funding opportunities, and steward resources in alignment with organizational priorities and community impact goals.
Experience with grant management or customer relationship management tools preferred.
Experience making thoughtful, values-based decisions that balance strategy, impact, and stewardship of resources.
Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate impact into meaningful messages.
Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate across teams, locations, employees, leadership, and external community partners.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and move work from planning through execution.
Commitment to inclusivity and engaging employees across diverse roles, locations, and work environments.
Willingness and ability to travel to and participate in a range of community events across the region.
Ability to maintain and work with confidential information.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency with Microsoft Suite.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage CROPP’s local giving and community donation efforts, ensuring alignment with cooperative values, strategic priorities, and opportunities to positively represent our brand in the community.
Manage the cooperative’s grant, donation, and sponsorship program software, including maintaining accurate partner profiles, transactions, and providing customer service support for all internal and external users.
Serve as the central coordinator for all active sponsorship requests, driving the workflow, tracking progress, and maintaining consistent reporting on program activation and outcomes.
Partner with Accounting to ensure accurate financial tracking and proper maintenance of legal documentation related to all giving activities.
Coordinate disaster relief responses, including timely decision‑making, partner engagement, and clear communication to employees and stakeholders.
Contribute insights and recommendations around giving to inform ongoing strategic decision-making, including identifying opportunities for greater impact and community visibility.
Maintain oversight of community partnerships, cultivating strong relationships with nonprofit, cooperative, and community organizations that strengthen both impact and positive brand presence.
Develop and oversee employee volunteerism initiatives that connect employees to their local communities in meaningful ways while reinforcing CROPP’s values in action.
Partner with internal stakeholders to encourage broad employee participation across locations, roles, and work environments (desk‑based and desk‑free).
Serve as a connector between employees, community partners, and leadership to strengthen CROPP’s presence, relationships, and reputation in local communities.
Collaborate with communications partners to amplify stories of giving, community impact, and employee involvement across internal and external-facing channels when appropriate.
Translate community engagement and giving efforts into clear, compelling messages that reinforce pride, purpose, and connection among employees.
Ensure consistent, thoughtful communication around giving initiatives, volunteer opportunities, and community partnerships to strengthen both employee engagement and community perception.
Support co-op-wide employee engagement programs, partnering with the Employee Engagement & Communications team on initiatives that foster connection and belonging.
Lead and oversee key components of the new hire onboarding experience, ensuring employees feel welcomed, informed, and connected to CROPP’s mission and communities.
Continuously assess and improve onboarding touchpoints to enhance the employee experience and early engagement.
Support the implementation of other employee engagement opportunities, cultural programs, social events, and initiatives as needed.
Participate in special projects as needed
