The Community Impact Specialist leads the implementation and coordination of the Community School strategy at the assigned UCP Charter School campus as part of the U.S. Department of Education Full-Service Community Schools (FSCS) grant administered through the University of Central Florida Center for Community Schools. Working in close collaboration with the school principal, UCP district liaison and leadership team, the UCF Center for Community Schools, university partners, families, and community organizations, the Community Impact Specialist helps integrate academic, wellness, and family engagement supports that remove barriers to learning and strengthen student success. The Community Impact Specialist ensures the effective implementation, coordination, and continuous improvement of Community School programming with a focus on: • Expanded learning opportunities • Student attendance and engagement • Integrated student and family supports • Community-connected classrooms • Family and community partnerships
