Our work involves making strategic investments, leveraging new funding, and building on critical partnerships to help further position ourselves to meet current and future housing challenges. As the Community Housing Financial Officer, you will support the delivery of community housing programs that help Nova Scotians access safe, suitable, and affordable housing. This role is a mix of financial review, program administration, file management, compliance monitoring, and partner support. You will assess applications, support funding recommendations, administer program funds, and help ensure approved projects meet program requirements from start to finish. You will also support the administration of the legacy Social Housing Agreement, including operating subsidy calculations, social housing inspections, and compliance monitoring. This work is well suited to someone who is organized, analytical, detail-focused, and comfortable working with financial information, program requirements, deadlines, and housing partners.
