About The Position

This position provides supervisory-level work in planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating the reproductive health program. The role involves leading programmatic budget planning, preparation, implementation, and monitoring activities, including required reports, data collection, review, and analysis. It also includes conducting site reviews in accordance with established timeframes and local health department guidance. Additionally, the position will offer direct services to clients in the reproductive health clinic, encompassing education, counseling, obtaining health histories, nursing assessments, explaining and witnessing consent, administering medications and treatments, and addressing other clinical situations as they arise, all in accordance with agency standard operating procedures, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
Two years of experience as a Community Health Nurse.
One year of additional experience in an administrative, supervisory, consultative, or teaching capacity as a Registered Nurse.
Current license as a Registered Nurse from the Maryland State Board of Nursing.
Possession of a motor vehicle operator’s license valid in the State of Maryland (if assigned duties requiring automobile operation).
