The Children’s Home of Pittsburgh is seeking an intern to support the development of our next Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA). Conducted every three years, the CHNA provides an opportunity to engage community members, families, healthcare providers, nonprofit organizations, and other stakeholders to identify and better understand the most pressing health and social needs affecting children and families in our community. Working approximately 10 hours per week with the expectation to come into the office once a week, the CHNA Intern will support all phases of the assessment process, including research, survey development and distribution, stakeholder engagement, data collection and analysis, and preparation of the final written CHNA. This internship provides an opportunity to gain practical experience in community health assessment, nonprofit administration, research, data analysis, stakeholder engagement, and professional report writing while contributing to a project that will guide future programs and investments at The Children’s Home of Pittsburgh.
