The Multnomah County Health Department's Public Health Division is seeking a PHP Immunization & Community Health Intern. This role is crucial for the Prevention and Health Promotion (PHP) unit, which focuses on chronic disease prevention, tobacco control, adolescent health, and reducing health disparities. The intern will support state immunization reporting requirements, community outreach, data management, and family education. The work involves coordinating mobile immunization clinics, developing educational materials, educating the community on vaccine importance, managing communications, and supporting school immunization programs. The intern will also assist with data entry, registry alignment, literature reviews on vaccine hesitancy, and refining planning documents for program sustainability. This is a hybrid role with one mandatory in-person day per week, with flexibility for additional on-site work.
