About The Position
Gaines Investment Trust is seeking a Groundskeeper for Greyson’s Gate Apartments. This is a hands-on position for someone who takes pride in maintaining the appearance of the community and enjoys staying active throughout the workday. The role is important in keeping apartment communities clean, attractive, and welcoming for residents, prospective residents, and visitors. This is an entry-level opportunity, and previous apartment maintenance or property management experience is not required. The company is looking for dependable individuals who take pride in their work, enjoy working outdoors, and like seeing the results of a job well done, suggesting that skills and experience from similar fields may transfer well.

Responsibilities
- Maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of community grounds and common areas
- Picking up litter and debris throughout the property
- Keeping sidewalks, parking areas, breezeways, and other exterior areas clean
- Assisting with basic landscaping and grounds maintenance
- Maintaining pool and recreational areas
- Cleaning and preparing common areas for residents and prospective residents
- Assisting the maintenance team with projects and apartment turns as needed
- Identifying and reporting maintenance or safety concerns
- Helping ensure the community remains clean, attractive, and well-maintained
- Performing physically active work outdoors in varying weather conditions
