About The Position
Gaines Investment Trust is seeking individuals for future Groundskeeper opportunities at The Winsted at Valley Ranch Apartments. This is a hands-on, entry-level position for someone who takes pride in maintaining the appearance of the community and enjoys staying active outdoors. While previous apartment maintenance or property management experience is not required, dependability, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn are essential. The role involves keeping community grounds and common areas clean, attractive, and welcoming for residents and visitors. As opportunities arise, qualified candidates will be contacted.

Responsibilities
- Maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of community grounds and common areas
- Picking up litter and debris throughout the property
- Keeping sidewalks, parking areas, breezeways, and other exterior areas clean
- Assisting with basic landscaping and grounds maintenance
- Maintaining pool and recreational areas
- Cleaning and preparing common areas for residents and prospective residents
- Assisting the maintenance team with projects and apartment turns as needed
- Identifying and reporting maintenance or safety concerns
- Helping ensure the community remains clean, attractive, and well maintained
- Performing physically active work outdoors in varying weather conditions
