We are hiring outgoing people to join our Boulder fundraising team. This role is ideal for students, performers, creatives, hospitality workers, recent graduates, community organizers, or anyone who enjoys meeting people and wants a job where communication is a significant part of the day. You will represent nonprofit organizations working on causes including environmental protection, humanitarian aid, human rights, reproductive freedom, LGBTQIA+ equality, and social justice, helping to secure long-term support through everyday conversations. This is a face-to-face fundraising role where you will spend your shift in the Boulder community, engaging with new people, discussing important campaigns, and inspiring monthly donations. The work is social, fast-moving, and involves spending most of your day outdoors and on your feet, with regular coaching from experienced fundraisers. It's a challenging role that builds useful communication skills such as approaching and connecting with strangers, telling compelling stories, reading conversations, handling objections, speaking confidently about issues, working towards measurable goals, and applying feedback.
