About The Position

The Community Field Recruiter role offers the opportunity to shape MidFirst Bank’s community and university recruiting presence by building meaningful relationships, representing the organization externally, and helping connect strong talent with career opportunities. The Community Field Recruiter partners closely with hiring leaders, professional organizations, community groups, and college career placement teams to support full life cycle sourcing and recruiting efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, human resources, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of related field recruiting, sales, or marketing experience.
• Ability to build strategic community and cross-departmental partnerships.
• Ability to confidently engage prospective candidates, community partners, and hiring leaders in person, by phone, and through written communication.
• Strong internal and external relationship-building and networking skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office Software Program experience required
• Results-oriented approach with strong organization and planning skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Knowledge of current federal and state employment laws and regulations.
• Willingness to travel locally and to surrounding states to attend trade shows, community events, and career fairs.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including some evenings and occasional weekends for recruiting events.

Nice To Haves

• Experience conducting outreach, networking, or community-based recruiting in a professional setting.
• Experience recruiting for Technology and Financial Roles
• Basic understanding of recruiting metrics, sourcing effectiveness, and candidate pipeline management.
• Familiarity with modern ATS platforms and social media sourcing.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, scheduling, ATS management, offer negotiation, and initiation of background check processes.
• Consistently generate a strong pipeline of high-quality candidates by identifying passive talent, participating in community events, and leveraging recruiting platforms and social media outlets.
• Develop influential partnerships with business leaders, community organizations, universities, workforce programs, and professional groups to support current and future hiring needs.
• Proactively research and evaluate new, cost-effective, and innovative sourcing strategies and tactics.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, define candidate profiles, and provide timely updates on recruiting progress, market conditions, and candidate feedback.
• Serve as a visible ambassador for MidFirst Bank at community, university, and external recruiting events by promoting career opportunities and strengthening the employer brand.
• Track recruiting activity, outreach results, and source effectiveness to help evaluate recruiting strategies and improve hiring outcomes.
• Use creative sourcing techniques, including local networking, social media outreach, and community engagement, to identify and attract top talent.
• Maintain accurate records of recruitment activity and candidate status.
