About The Position

Community faculty preceptors are needed to oversee resident work in either an in-patient or out-patient clinic setting. These are part-time, non-benefited employees. The role involves teaching residents and medical students at the UND Center for Family Medicine-Bismarck and other educational settings, supervising residents and medical students, and maintaining a significant broad-based clinical practice at the UND Center for Family Medicine-Bismarck. Additionally, the position assists in evaluating residents' ability to provide appropriate patient care.

Requirements

  • Have or be eligible for license to practice medicine in the State of North Dakota
  • Completion of an accredited residency program (AOA, ACGME)
  • American Board of Family Medicine or Internal Medicine certified or eligible
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
  • This position does not support visa sponsorship for continued employment.

Responsibilities
