About The Position
Piedmont Virginia Community College (PVCC) is seeking to identify qualified and interested adjunct faculty members for its Adjunct Faculty Pool in the teaching disciplines of Nutrition, Public and Community Health. PVCC is a two-year institution serving Central Virginia, known for its transfer curriculum, relationship with the University of Virginia, and workforce development programs. Applications are accepted on a continuous basis as openings occur, with review beginning immediately and continuing until positions are filled. Adjunct faculty are appointed on a course-by-course, semester basis as needed.
Requirements
- Qualified and interested adjunct faculty members in Nutrition, Public and Community Health.
Responsibilities
- Teaching developmental and/or college-level courses.
- Teaching distance-learning courses.
- Teaching during the day and evening, on weekdays and weekends.
- Primarily face-to-face instruction with the possibility of remote instruction.
