About The Position

Opine is hiring a Community & Events Coordinator to own the events it attends, sponsors, and hosts, and to help build a community of CROs, sales engineering leaders, RevOps professionals, and sales managers. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this in-office role is based in Durham, North Carolina, and involves approximately 25–35% travel or more during peak event season. Events range from flagship conferences and sponsorships to executive dinners, roundtables, virtual sessions, and customer meetups. Success is measured by cost per ideal customer profile (ICP) conversation and event impact, rather than badge scans. The coordinator will manage event planning and execution end to end, including calendars, budgets, logistics, sponsorship deliverables, guest lists, team preparation, and follow-up. They will ensure event leads and conversation notes are entered into HubSpot within two business days, maintain community engagement between events, and report on spend, attendance, ICP conversations, and influenced pipeline to inform future event decisions. Within the first six months, every event should have an owner, budget, preparation plan, and follow-up plan; event leads should reach HubSpot within two business days; a repeatable executive dinner playbook should be ready to run in any city on three weeks' notice; and the coordinator should be able to recommend which events to discontinue based on results. Opine describes itself as a small, founder-led company in Durham building an agentic deal engineering platform for complex sales. The role offers competitive salary, relocation support to Raleigh/Durham, and close involvement in early product and business decisions.
