AWS is hiring a Community Engagement Manager to lead InCommunities initiatives for the AWS Data Center Community. This position will be based out of Chicago, IL and will support the business across the midwest. This is a strategic role that will allow the right candidate to Dive Deep to support the AWS business. As a Community Engagement Manager, you will: Be a subject matter expert on external issues management and working with our neighbors around our Data Center Infrastructure. You will Identify and collaborate with partner organizations and key stakeholders to understand community needs, build relationships and collaborate on impactful outcomes. You will serve as the region’s community issues manager and lead the identification and deployment of programs designed to have sustaining and lasting impacts in the communities we live and work. The AWS InCommunities team launches long-term, innovative programs that will have a lasting impact in our regions around the world where we work, live, and raise our families. AWS InCommunities is obsessed with being good neighbors, and we start with the community and work backwards to represent infrastructure communities inside AWS. About the team AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on.
