The Community Engagement Manager leads Foundation for Recovery’s outreach, engagement, online presence, and media relations efforts to increase awareness of programs, strengthen community partnerships, and expand access to services across Southern Nevada. This role is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with referral partners, community organizations, employers, and key stakeholders, while elevating the organization’s visibility through strategic communications, storytelling, and community engagement. The Community Engagement Manager actively represents the organization in the community by facilitating presentations, attending events, and coordinating meetings with partners to drive referrals and collaboration. A key focus of this role is increasing awareness and utilization of Foundation for Recovery’s transitional-aged youth recovery housing program, serving young adults ages 18–24, through targeted outreach and partnership development. This position also leads content development and external communications, including capturing member success stories, creating content for social media and the website, and supporting campaigns that highlight program impact. In addition, the role supports media relations by identifying opportunities for press coverage, coordinating interviews, developing press materials, and maintaining relationships with local media outlets to amplify the organization’s mission and impact. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and relationship-builder with experience in community outreach, public speaking, media engagement, and mission-driven storytelling, and is passionate about advancing recovery and reducing stigma associated with substance use and mental health conditions.
