About The Position

The ACLU of Georgia welcomes interns each spring, summer, and fall across legal, policy, communications, community engagement, and voter access teams. We accept students at all levels, including high school, undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate. The Fall 2026 term runs from approximately September 9th to December 11th, 2026. This internship will offer academic credit only, and individual schedules will be arranged with intern supervisors. All applicants must complete this application form, which includes providing a resume. Some applicants may be required to provide additional documents. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, so early application is encouraged. The application deadline is August 14, 2026, but we reserve the discretion to close the application earlier if necessary due to high volume.

Responsibilities

  • Gain hands-on experience in grassroots organizing, coalition building, and community outreach strategy in support of ACLU of Georgia’s advocacy priorities.
  • Support active community engagement campaigns.
  • Contribute to activist and advocacy programs.
  • Assist with outreach efforts across the state.
