The ACLU of Georgia welcomes interns across various teams including legal, policy, communications, community engagement, and voter access. This internship is for the Fall 2026 term, running approximately from September 9th to December 11th, 2026. The internship offers academic credit only, and individual schedules will be arranged with supervisors. Applicants must submit a resume, and potentially additional documents. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, with a deadline of August 14, 2026, though the application may close earlier due to high volume. Interns in Community Engagement will work with the Community Engagement Manager to gain experience in grassroots organizing, coalition building, and community outreach strategy to support the ACLU of Georgia’s advocacy priorities. They will support active campaigns, contribute to activist and advocacy programs, and assist with statewide outreach efforts. This role is ideal for students interested in civil rights advocacy, community organizing, strategy, or nonprofit campaign work seeking practical skills in a mission-driven setting.
