The Community Engagement Coordinator supports Lines for Life’s suicide prevention mission by building and sustaining relationships with Community-Based Organizations (CBOs), with a focus on culturally specific and underserved communities across Oregon. This position strengthens community connections to Oregon’s suicide prevention resources, including trainings, conferences, crisis support, and culturally responsive programming, and supports community participation within Oregon’s suicide prevention infrastructure. The Community Engagement Coordinator assists with the coordination and administration of community-based initiatives, including Oregon Health Authority (OHA) Culturally Specific Suicide Prevention Grant-funded programs, learning opportunities, and technical assistance activities. This role serves as a connector between community partners and statewide suicide prevention efforts, helping ensure community voices are reflected and culturally centered approaches are prioritized.
