About The Position

The Community EMS Medication Assisted Therapy (MAT) Program Manager is responsible for leading and developing the MAT program within Cheyenne Fire Rescue’s Community EMS initiatives. As the MAT program is still in its early stages of establishment, this role requires a professional who excels in collaboration, critical thinking, time management, and effective delegation. Additionally, the Program Manager will play a pivotal role in working directly within the Medication Assisted Therapy program realm, coordinating efforts with internal teams and external agencies to ensure the program’s success and growth.

Requirements

  • Community Paramedic – Clinician endorsement through the Wyoming Office of EMS.
  • Current State of Wyoming or NREMT Emergency Medical Technician certification.

  • Grant writing and budget management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee the Community EMS MAT Program.
  • Develop a process for tracking data and metrics to show the efficacy of the MAT Program.
  • Procure, track and store all equipment for the MAT Program.
  • Coordinate with outside agencies that operate in the MAT Program realm.
  • Pursue grant opportunities, build the annual budget and financially manage the Program.
  • Develop and maintain MAT specific policies and protocols (reviewed and updated annually).
  • Maintain active Community Paramedic-Clinician endorsement through the Wyoming Office of EMS.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with local healthcare entities, including Cheyenne Regional Medical Center's Mobile Integrated Health program.
  • Represent the department at relevant local networking and professional development meetings specific to the MAT Program.
  • Participate in the accreditation process as required by the CEMS Coordinator and CFR administration.
