About The Position

The Community Education Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, promoting, and evaluating Benevilla's community education initiatives. This position manages the administrative oversight of the Support Group Program while coordinating educational programming, community relationships, and events that support caregivers, older adults, and the community. The Coordinator serves as a key representative for Benevilla by building community relationships, increasing awareness of Benevilla services, supporting participant engagement, coordinating educational events, tracking program outcomes, and identifying opportunities for future program growth.

Requirements

  • Reliable transportation to the Peoria, Sun City, or Surprise area.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check.
  • Equivalent combinations of education, training, and progressively responsible experience will be considered.
  • Experience/skills coordinating logistics for community event, workshops or education program.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously.
  • Community outreach and partnership development experience.
  • Experience working with databases or CRM systems, maintaining accurate records and data analytics.
  • Ability to collaborate with marketing teams to promote events through multiple channels.
  • Comfort in speaking in front of groups because this person will be introducing speakers, presenting about Benevilla, tours, potential tabling events, etc.

Nice To Haves

  • An associate degree in Human Services, Business, Communications, Event Planning, or a related field is preferred but not required.
