Community Education Instructor
About The Position
STMA Schools is a district serving over 6,700 students and employing more than 750 employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. The district includes one primary school for kindergarten, three elementary schools (grades 1-4), two middle schools (grades 5-8), and one high school (grades 9-12). This position involves instructing and coaching students in Community Education classes. Openings are ongoing, and the contract is seasonal. The schedule varies per activity, with classes held after school, evenings, and weekends. Shifts of 6 hours or longer include a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. FTE varies per activity. The starting rate for Instructors is $25.00-$27.00 per hour, depending on experience, and for Assistant Instructors, it is $20.00-$22.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Requirements
- Experience in instructing/coaching.
- Must have graduated from high school by the start of employment.
