This role involves working one Saturday per month, from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, as a Community Disability Worker. The position requires understanding and adhering to all Robin Hood Association (RHA) policies, procedures, and standards, including those related to ethical conduct, safety, and service quality. The worker will support adults, youth, and children with developmental and physical disabilities by implementing individual service plans, providing direct care, and assisting them in achieving personal goals and community inclusion. This includes supporting participation in life planning, social settings, employment, and skill development. The role also involves maintaining records, communicating professionally with stakeholders, and identifying/resolving issues. Employees are expected to be vigilant, possess a minimal standard of physical capability, and may be required to work in different program areas during staffing shortages. Transportation of individuals may also be required.
